Alternator - is it easy to change myself?
Iv'e got a 1986 325ES...wondering whether it's not too difficult to change myself.

It should be reasonably straightforward ... a couple of bolts, and a couple of wires.

you will also have to remove the air filter and its housing, a couple of nuts and plugs but with this out of the way the job will be alot easer...
