timing belt question
I have an 85 Pulsar NX with an E16 engine. It has been a little over 60,000 miles since I bought it so I will need to replace the timing belt as soon as possible. My question is what seems like a fair price for this job? The mechanic I called wants around $800 to do it. That's seems pretty expensive for such a cheap car. I couldn't even sell this car for $800 if I wanted to. Does that price seem right? I know the belt itself sells for around $20-30.

Re: timing belt question
It is not that hard to do but takes a while, so considering that, the price is a little high but not compeltely unreasonable.
