My gas pedal sticks or is harder to push when just starting to drive. I need to give it a hard tap to unstick, then it seems fine, until restarted. Anyone have any Ideas?

sticking pedal
Thank you for the advice. I dont mean to sound too stupid, but where do I locate the throttle body butterfly valve?

Re: sticking gas pedal
I remember from HP tv or two guys garage that cleaner is not good for MAF sensors and it was recommended to remove that first.

The throttlle body is in the big piece of metal that the plastic tube from the air filter comes from. What I did to clean mine was to take off the plastic tube with the mass air flow sensor in it and set it aside (be gentle), move the overflow tank, and then took a screwdirver and remove 3 screws of the oiece covering the TB. Once in thier it is easy to clean. Just spay the throttle body cleaner on both sides of the butterfly valve cover and let soak till all the crude can be brushed off with an old toothbrush. Then reassemble.
If you have a picture of an enging I can sho you were I am talking about better.
