Fixing Side Mirror 1995 Pontiac Grand AM
Hi.
My Driver Side Mirror fell down when crashed against garage entrance in my work place. The case which hold the mirror is not damaged. The mirror fell out. I checked the Power mirror and it is working fine. I thought of replacing the mirror alone. Is it possible to so. If possible, where should I start. I am not literate in automotive areas. Please help me. Cheers Sibi. |

Re: Fixing Side Mirror 1995 Pontiac Grand AM
I have a question along the same lines. My passenger side mirror fell off or was stolen. Just the mirror portion, the case and everything is still intact and fine. I've heard the best bets are probably to check a junk yard or go to a glass place and get one cut. Is there anywhere online, or otherwise that I coudl maybe find it to buy it? Also how exactly does the mirror attach to its base? looks as if it somehow screws on. I also have a 1995 pontiac grand am. mirror is manual so no wires.

Re: Fixing Side Mirror 1995 Pontiac Grand AM
i had the same problem with my old '91 Grand Am i had...( my first car, lol ). The driver's side mirror was gone. Just the glass part. I managed to get just that part at a local junk yard around where i live, and i only paid $18 for it. Maybe guys would be able to obtain the parts you need from a junk yard.....good luck!
