2000 Silhouette power mods

I need another 20hp out of a 2000 Silhouette. What choices are there?

Heres where I would start.

Now, the Silo/Venture/Montana all share the same engine as the Alero/Grand Am, the allmighty Gm 60' 3400 SFI (Also known as the LA4) therefore in THEORY performance parts are similar.

1) Air. The montanas have a difficult time sucking in air. Namely because air is drawn from the outside, through the fender, into the airbox, under the PCM through a tube to to the air filter, past the MAF and into the manifold. In otherwords, the air has a long trip to go before It gets to where it needs to be, heating up as it putters through the maze of plastic piping. Wouldnt it be eaiser to just have it go through a filter, past the MAF and into the engine? Yes. Easiest way of doing this is to get a WAI (warm air intake) or a CAI (cold air intake). Doesnt really exist for vans. What you need to aquire is piping, abs plastic or aircraft aluminum if your trendy of about 52MM inner diameter, a conical air filter, hose clamps and a few other odds and ends. First, remove the stock air cleaner, and disconnect your MAFsensor. Remove the stock piping and insert your newly made intake. This should free up a little. If you want to make a CAI, your going to have to gert really creative.
