Hotwheels Proportion Camaro Rendering - First post

Just a Hotwheels proportioned rendering I did over break. All comments and suggestions welcome. I am always looking for ways to improve my drawings and renderings. Thanks in advance.

Wow. I like the way there is a slight purple-ish tinge to the black. It gives the paint more depth. The chrome is really nice too.

Re: Hotwheels Proportion Camaro Rendering - First post

I'm impressed!.....i see a pretty well informed use of perspective. nice.

[although the rear spolier seems to be temporarily in a diff universe. Kidding. (Unless I'm seeing it wrong.)]

Overall, really nicely done...where do you get your technique?? (damn, is that white gouache i see??)

One more little pick- and this is really a matter of personal preference.......the insides of the wheel dishes would also be reflecting the same colors as the rims and caps- just reversed because they're concave.

technique

I am an Industrial Design student at Western Michigan University so that is where I have learned the technique I used for this one. It is done in marker, sharpie, colored pencil, and yes gouache.
