Thumbs up Thanks to all for the advise on the '97 SE purchase

A few weeks ago, my son and I were in search of a replacement for his totaled Olds Cutlass. We found an incredible deal on an SE with some 85K miles but with some HUGE oil dripping issues.

The wise folks at this forum gave me some sage advise on what to look for and specific things to ask the owner and as you can guess, he was reluctant to answer.

As it turns out, the car needed more than just a simple oil pan gasket and we have reluctantly given up on this "Hot Rod".

He has since sold the car to another buyer (good luck to them).

We have found the successor to my son's belated Olds...another Cutlass Supreme SL Coupe. He loves it, I really like it, But the Grand Prix has me yearning to find one for myself!

I'll be searching the sales ads for a nice GTP for my daughter ( or that's what I'll tell my wife!). Thanks again to all and Happy New Year.

Oh My, should I be asking you the same questions that soured the last deal LOL?!!!. Seriously, I fell inlove with not only the performance, but the great looks of the car. I know that all vehicles have their little quirks and I do enough maintenance myself to keep from going to the poor farm, but the one we looked at was...well ...trouble. Is yours...LOL !

That's Jimmy Buffet place.
Don't know if you can see the color of the chair.
She was told she has 30 days to change colors.
Only God knows what's next

It's not pink.....it's coral colored!!! Leave her alone.......

There's a guy here in St. Louis who was notified by his local municiple gov't that he needed to paint the trim on his garage and house. He got pissed and painted everything orange, yello, blue, and purple.

I don't care what color they paint them, as long as they don't live across the street from me.
We have one guy who painted his the same color as the yellow lines on the highway, but they didn't say anything to him.
