Timing Belt/Exhaust Manifold

I am very close to getting the head off but i have yet to remove the timing belt and the exhaust manifold. Quick questions...

TIMING BELT- i have the drive belts off, but i am having a terrible time trying to remove the timing belt cover. there is one bolt near the water pumb that holds it on and cannot get to it. also, hard to see any other possible bolts near bottom of engine. if i get that off, all i have to do is work with tensioner and timing belt should come off, correct? any info on removal of belt plus tips on getting to bolts in cramped spaces will be great.

EXHAUST MANIFOLD- i have one small bolt that connects to the head that is stripping and i can't get to it. also, manifold seems stuck to head pretty good. assuming i get that bolt off, do i have to unbolt the manifold with the exhaust pipe? any help here will be great also.

the reason i ask for help on these is because if i can't get it myself, i'll have to give up and send it to a professional mechanic. and i really want to do this myself seeing i will be a mechanic in future years. thanks in advance to all that are helping me.

Re: Timing Belt/Exhaust Manifold

on your stripped bolt try to find some one with a bit more experience doing mechanic work to help with it. It is hard for us to tell you what to do without seeing it. As for the bolt by waterpump try using a 1/4 inch drive ratchet with a 10 mm socket you should be able to get it right off.
good luck
