Steering Wheel Cruise Control Buttons - Illuminated?
Can anyone tell me if the cruise control buttons located on the steering wheel of my 2002 Taurus SEL are supposed to be illuminated? Thanks.

They are not illuminated on my 2001 Sable either, but they sure as hell should be! the Blue Oval guys made them with either a convex or concave circle, so if you have a good sense of touch on your forefingers, you can figure out which button is which in the dark (or so the theory goes)........

My 97 Taurus aren't, but my 97 Ranger were. Once I got used to the light coming from my steering wheel it wasn't too bad, but for a while I felt like I was flying a plane. I think personally, I'd rather them not be illuminated.

They are illuminated in my '03 Tarus.
