Can I offer you a small tip on the photography ?
Your photos are really good, but if you set the camera to manual focus
and focus on the area I have indicated in red, you will then have the front and back of the model in focus, not just the front 3/4. I hope I have not offended you.

Hopefully you will then get a result like this

Re: WIP Aoshima NISMO R34

Beautiful paint, decals, and execution. Are those rims painted or did they come like that, cause they are off the chain.

Thanks for that photography advice Hiroboy, I've always wondered how the pros do it.

ImolaEK,
I use a Nikon Coolpix 995. 3+ mgpl and one of the best macro modes around!

Thanks for the kind words,
Bill

Steve,
paintwork isn't flawless, but I hid the imperfection pretty well when I resprayed the panel...;-)>

Yeah, I knew I was off on the focus. I simply let the camera autofocus (Nikon 995) and used the timer for the pics. I generally use a center-weighted AF and focus on the middle, but I can also use the 6-point AF and that will allow me to get the entire model in focus, once I take the final shots. The manual focus mode on the 995 is a rather strange affair, because it uses distance as opposed to TTL...The only complaint I have about the camera....

and with pics like yours (and models) any tips are more than welcome!

Thanks for the kind words,
Bill

YIKES! Thanks for the warning James. I just checked and my windows are fine. Must have been some strange reaction you had!

and thanks for the kind words,
