98 Pathfinder Spark Plugs
Just purchased. Plugs have never been changed. The mechanic is saying i must use NGK at $8.50 each. Napa says the Bosch will work just fine at $2.00 each.

I think Bosch is as good or better.

I'd stick with the NGKs since the Pathfinder seems to do good with the plain ones, but I'm confused why he's saying $8.50 each? Your 98 takes NGK BKR5E-11 plugs that should be around $2.00 each, I think he's getting confused with the newer models that take platinum plugs.
