my new 2004 maxima SL.
alright im sellin my sentra and got the maxima,i plan on keepin it for a couple of years then probably gonna sell it.this car has really good looks,i like the 17 inch rims, the headlights, the interior is beautiful.it drives smooth and there is a lot of room.the sound system is awesome.
the only thing that gets me about this car is that it isnt as fast as i thought it would be.it has a lot of torque steer and can easly spin the tires.but the other day when i took it up the highway i accelerated from 60-85 and found that it wasnt much faster than my sentra. If anyone has this car, what do u think the 1/4mile and 0-60 time is. i think its 15-15.2 and 7.1-7.4

Re: my new 2004 maxima SL.
Hmmmm. Well, it has like 100 hp and tq on your sentra, so it should pull quite a bit better. Then again, the 6th gens are fairly heavy. If you wanted a faster car, you should've gone for the 6 speed. Auto vs. stick = night vs. day in Maximas.
In any case, congrats on the new ride, I'm sure you'll like it a lot. Does it have nav or elite package?

it's all about putting that 93 octane in ASAP, like the guys in the SR forum said.
