Newbie here - hello.

Hi all,

My name's H and I'm 27 living in the UK. I'm properly into Japanese sports cars and am the proud owner of a '92 Mazda RX7. I've always been into model making since I was a kid, however since going to uni some 9 years ago it all went a little AWOL. Now I've got a bit of spare time (and money) I'm getting back into it. I've currently got a couple of 'work in progress' - both Aoshima RX7s, one is the Veilside kit and the other the Bomex.

I've never had any joy with painting kits, so I joined the forum to get some tips on how you guys get those great finishes on the body work and also to hopefully solve two misteries I've never figured out - 1) how you stick painted parts together without the glue disolving the paint (been the bain of my life since I can remember) and 2) the best way to create lights with the clear plastic...
