and if that doesn't solve the problem, maybe go over everything installed and see if everything is properly connected,
was this a sudden thing or did it happen after an upgrade?

alright i'll try that(wires) and the guy i bought it from said he got the ecu worked on or smt??? and it redlines at like 7600 now when it stock redlined at like 67 or 6800 but he has had some work on the ecu if that helps but i'll try the wires and check the fuel filter and pump thanks alot guys and when i do change the wires what do u suggest i get.....

this happened about a week or 2 after i bought the car when my friend was driving and he floored it and it started doing it

One of my friends had the same problem about a week ago with his civic. about 6k the motor would just shut down basically. I told him it was a fuel problem and he should check to see the fuel filter was clogged up. And sure enough it was, we ended up putting a new fuel filter in and the problem went away. However after it was fixed, when idling his car would idle up and down sounded like he was pumping the gas a tad, but actually wasnt. Donno what thats about, but im sure well figure it out. but anyways try changing the fuel filter might be clogged.

ok so i changed my fuel filter and it didnt do ne thing and my plug wires should be coming in within a couple days so i'll keep you guys posted on what happens

so we figured out what it was.......it was a bad throttle position sensor but its all good now thanks for al your help
