92 rodeo help

ok, so my buddy was helping me fix my honda, and we were driving back from the mechanics because i didnt want my car to die and be stuck somewhere by myself... on the way home, his car stalled and wouldnt start..we think its the fuel pump because the motor rotates, and with starter fluid it kinda runs you know? I was just wondering if anyone knows if there's a walkthrough for getting it out, or how much should we be looking at spending, stuff like that. Can two amature mechanics do this? Any help would be great. Thank you .

Re: 92 rodeo help

Check for spark and gas.

When you turn the key to the on position listen for the fuel pump to run (hmmmmm sound).

Re: 92 rodeo help

the gas just isnt getting there. we were sitting there for a while because i thought that it could have been flooded. But apparently it is the fuel.. because we sprayed starter fluid in it and it started for like half a second.. so there's spark, just no fuel.. so ..
