Christmas at the Ol' Redneck's

Christmas at the Ol' Redneck's

Got a couple of extra days off with no sunshine so I decided to give the shop a little facelift. Put a new roof on and am finishing up a new wooden privacy fence. The best part is that it was all free and much lighter than the old stuff.

I replaced the roof that was made of 1/4 inch thick (and very heavy plastic) with some corrugated sign material that weighs about a 1/10 as much.

The outer fence was made of the same metal/plastic sandwich that roofs for service stations are made of and was pretty heavy. I replaced it with a fancy wooden one that I think looks much better. I knew those popsicle sticks and corn dog sticks I saved would come in handy some day.

I've still got to run the "chain link fence" as soon as I decide what to use for the poles and hardware but I thought I'd use my newly upgraded site to show of my Christmas present from Gator.

Have I got a great kid brother or what?
