TPS removal and install

Does anyone know how to removeand install the TPS on a 90 integra ls? My car is idling and I want to buy a tps on ebay instaed of buying an entire throttle body. The tps is riveted on so I don't know how to get it off.

You said your car is idling, is that a bad thing? j/k
What is wrong with the car and how do you know it is the TPS sensor?
The TPS sensor is not removable and you need to make sure that it is bad before deciding to replace it.

It is looping and I know that it is bad because when i unplug it the car idles fine just too high plus it hesitates sometimes when it's cold.

Ofcourse u can remove the TPS sensor. just remove the throttle body, get a dremel tool or even a hack saw and make a slot on the head of the rivets. now u can get a flat head screw driver in it and unscrew it. then when u install the new TPS sensor back in, u can reuse the screws/rivets that u just made a slot in.

Re: TPS removal and install

But where do you get the replacement TPS? Honda nor acura sell the TPS by its self.
