There are SR16VE 's too. there is one version of the VE called N1 which made 200hp from 1.6L. Now thats some nissan goodness.

It's a shame non of these engines made it into U.S. nissans. Even if they did, the air restrictions here would have reduced their HP numbers. I can see why Nissan went with the QR25. I've heard if you remove the balance shaft from the QR25, it frees up 10+ HP. Its that true?
