Gran Turismo Drifting!!!!!!!!!!!

Have anyone try drifting in Gran turismo? if they say that the cars in the game will control almost like an real life car. have anybody try the settings? like toe in/out ,camber -/+ and lower the car, stiffen the springs? caster,? all that suspension crap and will it drift just like a car in real life with that kinda setup?

Two things for you to do,

1) Post in the right section.
2)Go to the Gran turismo forums under games and search drifting, all the info you could want on the subject.

Re: Gran Turismo Drifting!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks similar, besides the fact that GT3 has a crappy smoke system, it sorta takes away from the drift a bit.

Re: Gran Turismo Drifting!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive had setting in old saved games that were real real good and i could get the drifting happening, but it controls like nothing in real life! and xyfalcon is right there should be heaps more smoke aswell, you should be able to sit there and rip mad smoke shows but its impossible.

The best drifting car is rx7 series 4, sorry i dont have any settings i accidently started a new game without writing them down.

You can go to google and type in gt3 drifting and i think thats how i got my drifting settings.

Re: Gran Turismo Drifting!!!!!!!!!!!

if you want to have a little bit better "feel" get a logitech driving force pro, its has the 900 degree mode which turns as much as a real car. It's pretty dificult to drift in GT3 with it but once you get use to it, it's pretty easy and alot of fun.
