94' Jimmy Heater Control
I was hoping for some help on this one,
Just recently my 94 jimmys heat started being stuck on defrost and floor, it wont change no matter what setting its on besides off, but all that does is shut the blower motor off, i know since its vacuum it could be anything but can somebody give me an idea were to start, i already took the control loose to see if any of the lines back there were loose but they wernt, so i need to know were else to go cuz its gettin cold out side and sum vent heat would be nice- Thanks, Ryan- |

Re: 94' Jimmy Heater Control
Check all the vacuum lines going back to the vacuum ball in the engine compartment.
Look for splits in the lines.

Sorry for the delay - I just joined. My 1/4 inch or 5/32 vacuum line next to the transmission/exhaust pipe underneath was bad. It just got too close and melted a hole in the side. Passenger's side of the trans, approach from behind the front wheel.

Re: 94' Jimmy Heater Control
Ah, replace it and all should be well.
Check all hoses while you are doing the repair, look for cracks and everything.
