I'm kinda glad that no-one knows where I live (that should say it all) I prefer Fords
My S-10 Blazer is the only Chevy that I'll ever own. And I only got it because my former boss needed my help for a couple of days, and couldn't afford my wages. It had a blown motor, and he couldn't afford to fix it either so he was happier with the trade than I am.

Chevy's have more powerfull motors, but since I'm no longer a kid I don't need power.

Actually my uncle says it best, that you should stick with what you know best, and since I've rodded 2 classic Ford Pickups, and my daily driver is a ford product I'm very comfortable working on them.

GM through and through. Sure the lightning is fast. but if you gotta fix the damn thing during the race then well that just sucks. Id take the xtreme. Supercharge it and rape the Lightning. If my xtreme were 2 die. I would rather push it, no matter the weather, than be caught driving a ford.

nothing against ford at all ( i do intend on haven a 5.0 someday after the s 10 is complete) but i would take my s 10 over a lightning, any one can just buy the truck thats already modded up for ya, but not as many can buy the part, learn how it works, install it and then get years of use out of it, its more satisfying to me to do the work and know what goes into something (even as small as fog lights) then to buy it and play it off as though i have a badass vehical even though i dont have a clue what all the relays are for

I would take the S-10 any day of the week over a Ford. If you don't like the performance of the 4.3L in the S-10 (well the big engine anyway), put a supercharger on it, and pray that you don't snap axles......Like said earlier I would rather push my truck than be driving a ford.

Sounds like there are some ppl who know what there talking about. Hey how about you keep your ignorant questions out of the forums. Your wasting my time and the time of others. Time that could be spent helping people out that really need it. well i guess you do need help in a way if your considering a ford over a chevy. My advice to you, consider suicide.
