Paying for a skyline

I was wondering if any of you could tell me how long you saved money for you Skyline and how much you saved, also how you are paying for your Skyline. I'm 16 right now, but I don't plan to get a Skyline for quite a while, but I still want to be some waht informed. Thanks for any help you can give me

Re: Paying for a skyline

the thing that really keeps most people from getting a skyline in the US is that you need all the $$ at once. i mean, you cant finance them and you cant make payments to motorex. although, there are ways around paying all at once. the best way to go about it is to go through the bank. motorex has a relationship with wells fargo banks, and will work with you to get a personal loan to get yourself a sky.

i dont have one right now, but i will in the next year. i need to wait alittle bit right now because im starting school in january after taking 3 quarters off.

Re: Paying for a skyline

the only problem is that intrest rates will rape you. well...not really, but on a loan that big 15% is alot more than it is on a $10k loan.

i got approved for a $35k loan from wells fargo with help from motorex, but i am going to wait until they can actually get the cars in .

You save cash if you pay in cash (cash or check) in full up front. My friend got his R34 for $88,000 that way

financing is available at www.peoplefirst.com if you have the credit and income to support it.

may i ask what experience you are drawing upon to come to this conclusion or are you some internet genious? I financed my R33 Skyline GTR through that very same company. I have first hand experience in this arena and have supported it. I will further support it with the following link:

Good luck to anyone who wishes to finance their car, regardless of what people on the internet w/o experience tell you. And is it just me or is "getting a loan from a bank" the same thing as "financing??"

we are talking about different financing i am talking like financing through motorex, like you would through a dealership. what you did was auto loan (says financing but basically thats what you got).
