Re: Mazda 6 ECU chips
There is a company that has stage one chips for the mazda six. And there is cold air intake already and headers and exhaust kits. Check ebay out for those things. I'll try to find the company that I was going to order my chip from. I have a mazda 6 as well heh.

Re: Mazda 6 ECU chips
I contacted Jegs performance chips and they said they have a flash burn in the process , it will be a stage one for around 180 bucks with a minimal 12 HP increase. Hot chips is also doing something similiar. I don't know if hypertech chips has anything on the line yet for mazda chip production but i'll e-mail and ask anyways.

Re: Mazda 6 ECU chips
No , it was a reply to one of the previous e-mails I made. 12 hp at the wheels with a boost of 19 ftlbs. If you are running the 4 cylinder , I would say get the injen cold air intake first and then tell them the specs on the CAI so they can tune it for that.
Also , if you want about 25 HP freed up , MAYBE , if you live in a state that doesn't require emissions , pull out the resonator. It will increase soo much flow. Also put a high flow , 50 state legal catalytic convertor on it. A universal should be fine.

Re: Mazda 6 ECU chips
OH Shiat , I also contacted a company that makes custom exhaust for mazda rx-8s and m 3 - 6's. Apparently they signed a deal with Reactive exhaust and are making a direct bolt on dual exhaust set up. Should run about 400 bucks. I got the guys number if you want it.
