Do i have any pics left? Of your car? I remember having your photopoint url but not anymore.....Maybe you thought i didn't have my 3rd gen anymore? I do, it's giving me some troubles, so i'm going to more then likely treat it to some boost and a couple days in the shop on a lift for some attention to the spoiled bitch. I hit uneven pavement turning around for my friend who spun his Jetta trying to hang w/ me, and when i did i bottomed out, and hit something in the throttle linkage or whatever you would call it, so for a day or so the throttle would do a quite obvious click at about 1/4 pedal and it was very feelable in the peddal, now that that has stopped i have a sort of ticking sound coming from about the intake manifold area when i get on the gas....also at times it tends to bogg down at around 4-6k. I'll have it on a lift at the shop again tomorrow to further look for damage and get the boroscope out.

I couldnt agree more. The RSX just LOOKS slow. I was really diggin the 3rd gen tegs until this redesign. I was hoping they were gonna give them a more aggressive stance, smaller, lighter, and more powerfull. Even the interior and seating position in the 94-02 Integras was a little high...like a Civic. And now its much worse! I just picked up a 91 Celica GTS as a daily driver and I gotta say....its perfect other than the lack of tunability. Its got a much lower stance, seating, and really feels like a sports car when driving it. All this in a car very comparable to an Integra. So you see why I would have loved the Integra to take a step further in the right direction but instead we get...RXS. I think its all just part of some big "jackass in a suite" driven market trend and I cant wait for it to die. When you think about it EVERY SINGLE good import sports coupe has suffered the same fate lately. The new Mazda RX-8, Mitsu Eclipse, Integra/RXS, and Toyota Celica have all gotten bigger and less agressive looking....not to mention less agressive....period. Even though performance has improved an most or all of these cars they more than make up for it with weight, stupid gizmos and fluff, size, and a loss in handeling/suspension. Must be an "SUV" mentality. Far as Im concerned Id rather have kept the 7 yr old design and just redesigned the engine.

man I have had a GSR and the car looks phat. I would never get that RSX.
Hi,

In Australia the DC2 is faster than the DC5(RSX/or watever it's called). At first I hated the new itr, and as for now I'm still more of a fan of the older itr model ie.DC2... However I can see myself growing to luv the new itr...

My brother has the DC2 and kicked my friends DC5's ass! Well maybe im exaggerating, but only a little :silly2:

Yes well the RSX type R is heavier and generally power to ratio is a bit less than previous model type R.

I still like the 2000 model ITR much better too!
