Door Locks On 1995 Suburban

I Have A 1995 Gmc Suburban, The Electric Door Locks Starteed Acting Erratic, They Would Work Some Times And Not Others Now The Will Not Work At All Using The Door Lock Switch Or The Remote, The Fuse Is Not Blown But I Have Noticed That The Relay In The Fuse Box In Position A Gets Hot At Times. I Have Un Plugged The Power Seats And I Still Have Problem, What Do I Check Next?

1995 Suburban Doorlocks

This is so much like my problem I had to make sure I did not write it. The automatic locks sometimes don't work. The electric seat sometimes doesn't work. It was a short in the seat for me. The thermal breaker in the int fusebox heats up from a short in the electric driver's seat and causes the seat and the locks to go down. Take the seat out...it is just four bolts, and check the wiring harness where the bare wires run up to the switch assembly on the door side under the seat. At first take I missed the short...but I looked later and found a major power wire rubbed almost completely through the copper causing the whole problem. I hope this helps you.
