How quick can a fuel pressure regulator go bad? Can it go bad at once?
I replaced my injectors and now the engine is hard to start, like its not getting enough gas when starting but runs fine otherwise (i posted about this before). I was wondering if it could be the regulator? My GP has 105,000 miles on it. Thanks |

Re: Fuel Regulator??
Did you bend the injectors lines, I hope not because this would be the cause of the car not starting. If that isn't it let me know and check and make sure there isn't any air in the lines

Re: Fuel Regulator??
The lines look good, I tried to be very careful to not bend them when I changed the injectors.
The other day I put some fuel system cleaner and premium gas in it and took it for a 4 hour trip. It started right away the next time I started it. If there was air in the line, could have driven it for a while gotten it out? If it could be one of the new injectors thats bad, how can I check without taking the injectors out again? Thanks A Lot |

Re: Fuel Regulator??
I really do not think there is another way, but I am not going to talk to quick maybe somebody else may know. Also if you have a haynes or chiltons manual, that would be helpful
