baught a SI tranny put it with my d16y5 motor an on my way home last nightit started makin a screaming noise an it was slowing down in gear an when i stopped it an put it in nuetral an let off the clutch to check to see if my linkage was off it moved an stalled out i can't even get it into gear with the shifter is my tranny shot or what?

Ya, you might have a shot tranny. If you cant get it into gear, then it's probably gone.

could be a clutch issue too. might not be disengaging for some reason.

That's true, can you start your car with the clutch disengaged?? (pedal in)
