What Compares to The Aurora??
I have had two 95 Auroras. I managed to get rid of one. The other is in my driveway with transmission problems. Anyway, more to the point, I love these cars, the way they look, drive, but, just can't stand the expense and unreliability. What opinions does this forum have on cars that compare as far as ride, comfort, and so on. I was looking at 300M's but would like to have other choices. As far as looks, I really like the Aurora. Nothing really directly compares. Let me know what you all think.

Re: What Compares to The Aurora??
there is nothing I would rather drive, maybe a caddy, but I love the way these cars look, expensive cars like bmws and lexus are too plain jane for me, these cars have appeal and i like the way it feels, feels like a cock-pit when i am driving

The only cars that really directly compare to the 1995 Aurora.
Are the 1996 -1999 Auroras.

Re: What Compares to The Aurora??
Isnibs is correct nothing compares to the real thing
Think of it as a woman fun to ride, exspensive at times but look at those curves nothing compares. 80mph on the freeway need to pass step on the gas and your gone. Only one other car I have had that was as much fun to drive and that was my 73 formula 400 |

Re: What Compares to The Aurora??
I think a caddy is going to have to be my next car. I also like the Buicks. Some Pontiacs look nice also. (We are a GM family and everything else is the devil.) The more I think about it though, I think my car has to be a truck. Maybe a GMC Envoy.

Before I bought my 98 Aurora, I was deciding between the same year range of Buick Riviera, Chrystler New Yorker, Cougar, Thunderbird, Lincoln Mark VIII, and Mustang. I drove a 95 Mark VIII and it had power and comfort, but a lot of road noise in the front tires for being a Lincoln. Ultimately I'm glad I got my Aurora. You're right, the repair costs are a pain. But that's what you get with any newer car it seems. Also, I think those new Cadillac Devilles are sweet if you have the moolah.
