in-progress: German style Golf mk II

here is the golf i'm wating for so long let me tell the story...

i've ordered a year a go a golf II from by my lhs.
They should call me when the kit arrived..
they never call

then a cople of days ago i went with my dad to de center of "leiden" were a hobbyshop is... we firts bought a "kroket" it's a typical dutch snack
en we ate it in front of the etalage of the hobbyshop..
then i saw the GOLF MK II and bought it a year after my order in an other shop, lucky me i thought i never found the kit

any ways here are the pics, i want to keep the "clean" style shaved without extreme bumpers etc..

front with shaved bumper

back with shaved trunk

and last but not least: the pic with the beatyful rims

o yea sorry the pics are a bit blurry

greets frank from holland

What are those rims? They look like Shmitt's.

IMHO, precromed rims makes the model to seem a toy... can't explain why, maybe they've too sharp borders, or the crome effect it's too fake...dunno
