Red face changing the right headlamp, lowbeam & fog lamp on 95 Aurora

Hi there, is there anyone that can explain how to change the right side headlights. The high beam works, just the lowbeam and the fog. Why is everything on this car so difficult to work on??????? Help

Re: changing the right headlamp, lowbeam & fog lamp on 95 Aurora

you should be able to reach the low beam pretty easily... i didnt take anything out when i did it, and the passenger side (which i'm assuming is what you mean by "right" side) is easier than the drivers side. angle your hand in there, and when youfeel the back of the bulb, twist it (i'm thinking counterclockwise but i am not 100%) and it will unlock and you can pull it out. the wire should be long enough that you can get the bulb out enough to see it. clip on the new bulb and replace it that way.
as for the fog light, there a black plastic piece on the bottom of the car that directs air... you have to pull it back enough to slide your hand up behind the fog light housing. this was a pain for me considering i have big hands, but its doable. if you get in front of the foglight glass and look carefull at the bulb, you can see which way it twists into the housing. reach in, twist it about 1/4 turn, and it will come out.

also, i have a lift... that helps =)

Re: changing the right headlamp, lowbeam & fog lamp on 95 Aurora

My low beam went out a few weeks ago. It was insaine how little room they give you to get the headlights out. I thought I was going to have the new one busted by the time I got it back in. And for the fog lights, I am just glad I have access to a hoist. It would be a pain to change them without one.
