ca1 accord rad fan wont turn on

Hey all,i got a bit of a prob,the fans in the 86 accord the mrs has dont turn on at all,ive checked the fuses and the thermostat,the fan runs when hooked up to 12 volts,but not when plugged in to the car?
Ive looked everywhere for wiring diagrams,but cant find any for the life of me.
If anyone can save me the little hair i have left,id be eternally greatfull,lol.

did you check the sensor

Check your main earth, take it off, clean it up (as in the main earth for the engine) as when dropping my new motor in a dirty earth stopped my fan.

Yeah, check your sensor and also check your relay switch.
