That's true. But I'm an honest person looking at a carfax that says my car is a good buy, no problems.
And now that I'm committed with a loan payment, and I've been trying to fix all these problems and they make it so hard, I'm upside down. Can't sell it unless I want to lose anywhere from $2000-$5000.
Trade in is only worth $5000, I owe 10k.

And now, if I put all my troubles on carfax, I will screw myself.

I might be wrong, but doesn't the seller of the car have to sign something saying the car was not hit or has no problems? I don't know, alway sell it myself.

Re: clean carfax but could be wrecked

I'm not sure, I live in Mo. and I usually sell mine myself also but this was a trade in to the dealership and as far as I know you're supposed to, and the dealership could go back on the person they got it from, but I don't think they want to fool with it. I've mentioned it a couple times and they keep giving me stupid answers, no straight ones.

And I did want to say one more thing, it's not carfax that's no good, just sometimes it doesn't do any good to get a carfax

Re: clean carfax but could be wrecked

In the State of Florida, you have 14 days to return a car, if you don't want it. But don't know how long you have had it. Of if MO has something like that. We had a radio show in Michigan, you asked different people about the law and what your rights are. If you can find something like that you may find a way out.
Good luck.

Re: clean carfax but could be wrecked

In Mo. you have 1 year to "make a lemon law claim".
I've had mine a year in Sept., but I've been taking it back over and over since the first month I bought it. Thanks!
How do you get your picture in this? Florida looks SO WARM! It's cold and crappy here. I have to put at least one picture in here.

Re: clean carfax but could be wrecked

Try this;
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=331758
Florida is warm, all but a month out of the year. Two days ago it was 36 when I went to work. Right now I have the windows open. Tuesday morning they are saying it's going to be 19, in the morning. Then Friday it will be 76.
March back in the 80's. I know it's hard to think someone would say this, but I wish I was back in Michigan.
