was Driving along and the car just died not sputter no nothing. Got all kinds of advise and finally found that I had a faulty fuel injector. Ordered a replacement and changed it out. Got the car to start couldn't keep it running rough idle. Vapor locked the engine. Purged vapor lock and had a nice little camp fire. lol Now the only way to keep car some what idling I had disconnect a vac hose. I now have Gas in my oil. I know this because I have a huge puddle of the wonderful mixture sitting under the car now. Any I deas, Short of taking to the desert and blowing it up. Any question please ask. I am running out of options and money on this one.

If you're getting gas in the oil, sounds like perhaps you have further problems past the injector. Sounds like your piston rings are bad. Do a compression check. Also, since it's a 97, it has OBD-II. See if you can run a scan tool on it. See what's causing the bad idle.
