What does it mean? Dirty fuel injectors, perhaps?

It looks like pretty white smoke, although there might be a slight blue hue. I don't think its the oil, although I just got it so I'm sure sure when the last change was. I will go in for an oil change anyways and see if it improves anything.

mine blows white smoke out the muffler too. i just did an oil change so it cant be that. could it be that white smoke means your car is running too rich, cause a mechanic told me my car was running to rich after he saw the spark plugs.

if you have a lot of WHITE SMOKE pouring out of your exhaust it usually means you are burning rad fluid. - check your head gasket. - also look for oil in your rad fluid - or rad fluid in your oil - furthermore run your engine with your rad cap off and look for bubbles/bubbling of your rad fluid - if you see that your head gasket is gone. best of luck. |

Re: Lots of smoke out of the muffler
I posted this a long time ago, pre-H22A. I thought maybe it was a headgasket problem, but even with my new engine this problem is still plaguing me. It can't be the block itself. I notice that its usually only old cars that blow lots of smoke on cool days.
I still have no freaking idea. Maybe Honda hoses are bad?

Re: Lots of smoke out of the muffler
Well if we're opening this up for discussion again, I guess I'll throw in my two cents. I had the same problem when I first got my car, and it happened for maybe a month or so. I did use some fuel injector cleaner, that might have helped a little. It happens every once in a while now, mostly if I haven't started the car in a few days, or longer (which happens now that I'm at school). It mostly only happens when the engine is revved. Someone told me it might have something to do with the valve lubrication or something along those lines? I don't know, maybe the ludes just do it.
