I've got a checkmate alarm system, FCCID: JT3KT6B, and recently the alarm has been going off for no damn reason, doesn't stop until I reset. Any ideas as to why it should be going off? I've changed the radio.........could that be the problem?

Re: checkmate alarm 92 accord EX
Could be a short of some kind, could be your battery running down. Go to Autozone and have them check your electrical system, they should do it for free. They wont know much about the stereo and alarm, but they may be able to identify a problem with battery connections or obvious shorts.
Also there is a section of AF devoted to aftermarket sound systems: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...play.php?f=675 if you post your question there, there are quite a few guys who install alarms and stereos, so they would be more knowledgable about your specific problem and maybe able to give you better advice. Sorry I couldn't be more of a help...but welcome to AF. Maple..you have a PM, quit spamming that forum.
