Electric Supercharger!
As most of us have heard or seen on dyno tests these electric superchargers won't work and might even restrict intake. But I was wondering if anyone thinks that this would work: A centrifuge connected to an electric motor, manually controlled. And use of a dual intake to avoid any restrictions. I can get a really cheap used centrifuge but wouldn't know what to do with it.

Most of us know the pros and cons of the turbo/super race.
Now I have an idea. What if you put a supercharger for it's low RPM power and no lag. Then combine it with a turbocharger for mid to high RPM power. Does that sound like it would work?

i had an electric blower, blowing into my air box from the fender when i had the gt and it didn't make any bigger difference than a cai would. it was a centerfugal blower that was open enough that it didn't make any difference when it wasn't on but i think that you'd be better off with just a cai or fwi. i read about an electric blower that some pro's use but it only increases the psi by 1, so for $500 you aren't gaining much.
As for the supercharger, turbo combo its a nice idea firefox but i don't think it will work. the supercharger would probably become a henderence once he turbo passed it in boost. Thats why the turbo kit for the GTP comes with the parts to gut the supercharger. if you had a common air chamber that the two were blowing into independently with different intakes then it might work. you might lose some boost through the supercharger though if some kind of valve were not in place.

maybe if you had a centerfugal supercharger feeding into a turbo...if you fit all that under the hood lol

When I was in the ARMY and working on heavy equipment they had diesel motors with a 671 blower and a turbo,but then again they are diesel.

But unless it's roots or screw I'll lose the low-rpm power anyway, so theres no use. I think it would depend on if I could get the air from one place to the next.

Ok what about a centrifuge connected to the crankshaft manually controlled through some sort of gear box!

yea, i think they call that a centerfugal supercharger...the gear box being the pulley system...the pulley system being run off the crank...

Or you could juss say screw a single turbo or any supercharger and go with the Quad-Turbo system that new Chrysteler ME(Insert #s here) car has. 0-60 in 2.9 secz, man o man.... ogggghhhh
