1992 Ford Aerostar
I just purchased a 1992 Ford Aerostar and can't find the oil pan plug. (Needless to say, I haven't bought a manual for this van, yet.)
Can anyone direct me to where I might find this plug so I can get the oil changed. Also, how in the heck does one change the spark plugs on this model? I've never seen anything so hard to do! I can't even see half of them! Thanks in advance, Brad. |

I have 2 Aerostars, a 93 and a 96. Aerostars have a large cross over member under the motor. Behind the crossover member is the oil pan. The drain plug in in the back of the oil pan.
The spark plugs are a treat. I assume you have the v6 (3.0 or 4.0). Jack up each side, remove the tires, and you can access the plugs through the tire wells. Good luck |
