drive axle

has anyone had problems replacing the drive axle on a 99 lumina ltz? for some reason it wont match up with the trans axle. thanks

i have a 99 ltz also. have not replaced the drive axle yet. How do you like your ltz? how many miles?
I just turned 100,000. still running great.

I am approaching 100,000 miles. For the most part I like it. I bought it used. My problem is the cv joint broke and for some reason the replacement axle won't fit. I had it towed to a shop and they have tried 2 more axles and they won't fit. I have never heard of such a thing happening.
