That was some stupid crap. 1) They shouldn't have been racing there 2)Nitrous Oxide can "blow an engine up"? 3) How do they know street racers came back and broke the windows? Ugh.
I guess my car would "flag" as stolen or something since the VIN on my sr20 doesn't match the VINs on my chassis. Oh well, maybe the term "street racer" will go away soon....

The windows of the warehouse where tons of cops poured out of and ticketed street racers and ruined the night were broken the night after...Gosh, who could it have been...?

It raises the pressure higher than your engine can tolerate.

Re: Operation Dragnet, street racing bust

Honestly, if theyre trying to crack down on stolen shit that's good, but come on, there's got to be something better for them to do. It's dangerous, but if there's nowhere else to go....what do they do? I don't know if its true, but in some state they were supposedly trying to pass or did pass a law that said if youre caught street racing, youre car gets crushed....rumor or true??

that would provoke high speed chases... i know i wouldnt want my $20,000 car crushed

but in some states they can impound your car for racing
