Re: accel igntion coil

you should try out an msd blaster coil......its small, compact, and its chep....(depends were you live...) accels are good.....but i trust more in msd......

......................recomendation....you should get a set of new plug wires cause that little thingy throws out an awsome @$$ spark......the factory plugs just cant handdle it.......

Re: accel igntion coil

thats cause your burning all the gas properly....if you said that the cars a little lean...then i should recomend a set of bosch 4 spark spark plugs....those are a good bang for the buck....

i used to have a zx2 escort on i put bosch 4's in it, and they casued very bad spark knock, im thinking it may be different on a imported car casue this is my first import other than this i was straight chevy!!, but if i didnt want bosch 4's, i used to use ngk iridum plugs and those were very nice so maybe those would be another option or if the +4's wont knock in this engine i will try those cause they are a good plug but for some reson they dont like gm engines lol

Re: accel igntion coil

That fony liar!!! They do make them for the ew1...that shows how much he cares for his clients.....just take a pair of plugs from your car and compair them.....hondas share almost every thing the same....

That knocking noise from your chevy was due to the lack of fuel....your car was leaning out... I assume that since you said the car was running a little rich then its not suposed to knock...if you cant find 4's...look for bosch 2's....those are good...currently,my car is useing ngk gold pladium(i think thats the name...) plugs...those look just as the venom plugs and as the denso iridium plugs.....but then again...those are my opinions....its your wallet and your car so you can do what ever you please as of company name brand wise....

...hope i was of any help....
