Problems with my starter
My 94 Altima has a bad starter. Manual transmission. I,ve been looking for an inexpensive replacement but all I can find are starters for auto transmission. My dads friend who is a mechanic told him you can rebuild an auto starter to fit a manual car. Is this true? If so how can you do that?

you might be able too...take your starter to a 'starter and alternator' rebuilder and tell them what you need.
