Question '95 Civic LED WASHER INSTALL- FOR SHOWS...

i'm runnin a '95 Civic LX and i have read every wiring diagram i can find - chilton, haynes, etc... and i still can't find which wires to splice into to connect my LED washers. i want to connect them to a switch also so if anyone has detailed instructions (i.e. wire colors or photos) or knows where i can find some, please let me know...and please, no rice bashing, it's strictly for shows...put money in to get money out...thanks all!

Honestly, fuse a power lead from your fuse box, to a switch, then off to the lights..
Simple, you dont need to tap into anything special..
Be careful if you go through the firewall, you dont want to short anything out if the wire gets cut and grounds out..

Run the ground wire to a ground somewhere. Run the power (hot) wire to the hot wire of the parking lights. There will be 2 power wires for the parking lights. One is the turn signal hot wire, one is the parking light hot wire. Any wiring diagram should tell you which is which. The parking light hot wire on both sides is red-black. If you tap into the parking light hot wire, the washer LED's will come on whenever you turn the parking lights on. The turn signal hot wire on both sides is green-blue. If you tap into the turn signal wires, the LEDS will blink with your signals.

The easiest way to do it is to splice the hot wire into the parking light hot wire and then ground it somewhere. If you want it on a toggle switch, buy one and run the wires to that before you do the above. When the switch is off, the circut is interuted and the LED's won' turn on. When the switch is on the circut is compeltred and they'll work.
