My 91 drivers side floor mat is in remarkabaly good shape for being 14 years old & 170,000 miles except for the "Accord" logo wearing off simply because that is right where your heel tend to go.
I had this black Krylon Fusion paint (SPRAY CAN - 6.00 or so) for plastic setting around and figured I'd give it a try even though it is not for carpet.
IT WORKED GREAT !!!!!! It dried in 15 minutes. Gave it 2 coats, spraying the whole mat.
The logo was so worn I just sprayed right over it. The car is in such nice shape the only dull thing was the mat inside. Beats buying a pair of new ones!
It is not time tested yet as I just did it but it sure looks good to me!
Wears off in a year or 2 and I'll just give it another blast.
For sure it looks stock and you would never know that I did it!
