Will a small block fit in an 88 Astro?

I've got an 88 Astro sitting in a garage without an engine. I was thinking about installing a V8 just for the hell of it, but I don't want to do a lot of fab work. I was wondering if anyone has made this swap, and what's involved.
I want it to look as "stock" as possible, and not resemble a hack job. I'm considering a 350 engine that I had rebuilt about 3 years ago, and is still sitting on an engine dolly in my garage.

Re: Will a small block fit in an 88 Astro?

Yea it will fit, after you buy the right brackets. I haven't personally done the swap, but I've looked into it extensively and BASICALLY all you need is the V6 to V8 engine brackets that you can search up. Go to http://www.astrosafari.com and read some of what those guys have to say. They know anything you want to know about these vans.
