90-93 accord question

I saw the bumper from a 90 accord and I really like it more than mine, it looks like it has a bigger mouth and I just like it more....anyone know if it will fit on my 92?? I know i cant do the rear lights (or is there a way) but I really like the bumper. I see that the lights are different so id have to get the lights too but I just like that look.
I found this accord and i like his grille....he has no chrome thing...how the hell??

Most accords 90 thru 93 are universal. I'm sure the bumper will fit just fine though because bodykits are sold 90 thru 93 with perfect fitment. Which lights are you talking about? Front or back. It doesn't look like he has a grill on it unless he just painted it all black.

Well, i know that the front bumper lights wont work, no prob....but is there a way to get the rear lights to work?? what panels do i need?? I essentially want my 92 to look like a 90/91 I actually do like the look a little more.

Don't wish for the backup lights on the 90/91 (versus the ones on the 92/93) - they are HORRIBLE. You may as well shine a flashlight out of the rear window!

are u serious? i like the 92-93 accords better. no automatic seatbelts... better looking rear... and the ex front lip is same color as the car unlike mines where it is black/rubber. plus the 93 ex has 140 hp i believe.... compare to the 90 ex which is 130

I dont like auto seatbelts :-P And yes, you are correct in the HP differences...even though mine is an lx (135 vs 140 for ex
The only difference in the rear is the lights are slightly different....I think its kinda neat lookin.
The big thing for me is the front bumper... just like it more. :-)
So, anyone know if the rear will work?? what will it take?

hmm... i thought the 90-93 dx and lx have the same motor... which outputs 125 hp. the 90-91 ex have an f22a4 motor which outputs 130 and the ?92-93? ex have an f22a6 motor which outputs 140 hp.

yes the lights will work all you need to do is change the trunk lid the lights on the body are the same the ones on the trunk are different!!!

...thats what you were told.... ok, have you even looked at these lights?!

they arent the same....92/93 lights do not go all the way to liscense plate area they have a little peice of metal between them and this must be removed to place the 90/91 tail lights.
Also, as you see in the links above, the 90/91 lights are like 20/80 where as the 92/93 are 80/20.
The trunks do have different part numbers but i have not seen any difference.

all you have to do is change trunk lids just make sure you get the tail lights with the lid for the 90 91 the lights you bolt to the body are the same

...did you not look at the diagrams?
the 91 tails have amber on top..... 92 are on bottom....unless this diagram from honda is wrong...
which means that my lights would be amber on top on the trunk side then flip flop.....not the same....like i said, have you looked at them? maybe same shape but thats all

look man all you have to do is get all 4 tail lights from a 90/91 and the trunk lid after you get them change the lid and then replace the side lights also with the ones from 90/91 they are viceversa but the ones from the 90/91 they got this box like thing on the back of them where the bulbs hook up you pulg the wiring harness into that if that don't work just use your imagination with the wiring and reverse the plugs !!! but the 90/91 lights and lid will bolt up to your 92/93just play with it awhile

ok, first post, you were off, second, closer, now your right on....ive known what i had to do, i was mostly wantin the front bumper thing but the rear i knew what id have to do but i didnt know that i would definately need the trunk, but if you say you do, i guess i do....but what is the difference, i dont recall a difference.,.,..i do see they have a diff number...
also, the 90 lights go all the way to tag....what about the center peice behind tag?
