Supercharger issues

Obviously my first thread wasn't interresting enough so how about if I ask more a of a tech question.
What is involved in rebuilding a supercharger? I can't seem to find anybody that will even touch it. I was told I could order a new one through Auto Zone for about $700 but they do not seem to carry'em.
The only source I've found was the company that supplied Oldsmobile with the supercharger, Magnason. The only problem with them is they want $1100 for a rebuilt one, plus a core charge of $200. Surely there has to be a cheaper way than that!

Any advice would be really appreciated.
Oh ya, the car is a 93 olds 98 T.S.
Thanks
