2001 Sentra...Bad Fuel Pump?????
I've been having problems with my 2001 sentra GXE for the last week or two. I'm having problems starting it. The engine will turn over, it just won't catch. When I am able to get it started, I will hear a zapping noise in the front passenger side and then the engine will cut out. I took it in to get it looked and they replace the fuel pump fuse, fuel injector fuse and a relay switch. After I paid for it, I went to drive it home and it won't start. We pushed it back into the garage and the mechanic took a look at the parts he replace and they were fine. We tired to start it again and it worked. The mechanic gave me a ride home in the car and on his way back to the shop it cut out on him again. For the past three days they have been driving it around with a fuel pump sensor attached to it, trying to get it to act up....it won't. I picked the car up today because they couldn't find anything wrong and it cut out on me twice on the way home. Has anyone had this problem or know what it might be?
