Touareg Driving Impression
How does the Touareg compare with the Porsche Cayenne? It may sound kind of ridiculous to ask, but I think they share the same body frame etc.

Touareg is the same vehicle as the cyanne.. they are built at the same plant then the cyanne is sent off to get a "porsche" engine and transmissiion in it. They basically drive and ride the same accept you pay 2 times the price for the "porsche" model. Plus the cyanne doesnt come in the yummy v10 tdi!

Is the TDI available yet? I've heard it's a really great performing engine, very fast etc. There is a VW exec. in my town and he's driving the diesel. Being a diesel is it good on gas?

Yea the TDI is available right now in US markets in the Touareg! It isd very fast and I consider is the BEST Touraeg! 25mpg in a SUV!
