1994 Saturn SL2 TC
I was looking in to buying a 1994 Saturn SL2 from a guy I work with but he said it needs a timing chain. It's got the DOHC motor. I was just wondering if you guys had any clue if this was a valve bender or not. Any info would help. THanks

this is about the seventh timing chain question i've had in the last three weeks on this site, which is to be expected i guess, old chains rattle more when cold. it is indeed a valve bender. the parts kit from saturn costs about $200. i think saturn charges about $500 or 600 for the labor, but a skilled DIYer can do it. just tell me what you need to know.
