88 PA lock actuators
I have an 88 PA in my shop and can not find out why the door locks will not go all the way down. You can hear the actuator and see a LITTLE movement. I have gone thru one door completely. Anyone ever experienced "WEAK" actuators?

Re: 88 PA lock actuators
since it's magentic, it try replacing/testing the relay that makes them go down...it must be a common relay for all 4.. and if it's oxidated or used up, it CAN make less contact and creat a resistance in eletricity, you would still get 12 volts tot he coils of the actuators, but get LESS amps.. and thus, get less magnetic fields so it would creat a "weak" actuator...it's either that or the cable that from or to the relay in question.
